Re: Change of Clothing
Date February 21, 2006

Young children have toileting accidents, food spills, and generally get messy. That is
why the preschool requires the children to have a fresh change of clothing in their
cubbies, including pants, shirt, underclothes, and socks.

It is difficult for your child if an accident occurs and there are no clean clothes. Please
bring fresh change of clothing each time soiled clothes are sent home.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Re: Lunches Brought from Home
Date: February 21, 2006

We like to occasionally remind parents about the importance of nutritious meals for
young children. Although packing meals at home for school is time consuming,
the types of food that your child finds in his or her lunch box help to determine the
energy that he or she has for the participating in school activities. Please do not send
candy in your child’s lunch box, soda or just sweet desserts. There must be some type of
nutritious meal. If your child does not eat meat than something that meets nutritious standards must be sent, such as: rice, pasta, peanut butter & jelly, etc.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Re: Child Drop-Off and Pick-Up Safety
Date: February 21, 2006

Please remember that Preschool policies require that parents deliver children to the class room door and sign in when dropping them off at the preschool. Children may not be left in the preschool yard or inside the front door. Teachers should be made aware that each child has arrived for the day.

When picking up your child at the end of the day, please check child’s cubby or other message center set up by child’s teacher for any memos or handouts. Let the teacher know that have arrived to pick up your child and sign your child out for the day in the binder in the hall way.

Children should be dropped off and picked up from the preschool only by designated persons 18 years of age or older. Children shall not be released to minors. If substitute caregivers are designated by you to transport your child to and from school, please notify the preschool at 295-9559, of the name of the individual and the times/days that he/she will be providing this service.

These policies are designed to provide the utmost safety for your child. Thank you for your cooperation.

Re: Toys Brought to School
Date: July 10, 2008

Parents please do not allow your child to bring any toys from home to the preschool, unless it is “Show & Tell”. It causes alot of arguing and fighting over the toys and we as teachers do not have the time to keep up with the toys. They get lost and sometimes broken which causes your child to become upset. PLEASE LEAVE ALL TOYS AT HOME!

Thank you for your cooperation.
