Every story matters.
We believe God is still moving—healing, restoring, and transforming lives every day. These stories are just a glimpse of what He’s doing in our church family.

Brittney and Will have been part of the Champions family for the past 8 months, but their journey together started long before that—walking through 10 years of infertility, heartbreak, and being told what wasn’t possible. After choosing to stop trying, and in the middle of a serious health battle, God stepped in.

Brittney shares, "In 2024 I developed a condition called hydrocephalus, which is where your body creates an excessive about of fluid surrounding the brain. I couldn’t see in bright lights, I couldn’t drive, I had blurred vision, major migraines every day, etc. All treatments didn’t work and they had a shunt surgery schedule for me Oct 4th, 2024. Two weeks before my schedule date I was walking down my hallway to my bathroom and I heard a voice speak to me. It said “take a pregnancy test.” I ignored that voice and it immediately again spoke to me louder “take a pregnancy test.”

I’m shuffling under my bathroom sink and find an old pregnancy test, probably expired, and I took it. I didn’t even understand why I was doing this...but I did it. A minute after I looked up and it was positive. I was pregnant, something we were told we would never going to see!

During my pregnancy my symptoms for my brain condition slowly went away. All the doctors mentally prepared me to expect it to come back as soon as I had Westin and I can proudly say we are almost one year symptom free! God not only gave me the opportunity to be a mother, but he saved my life."

Stories like this remind us—He sees you, He hears you, and He’s still working in ways we don’t expect.
"Before encountering Christ, I was stuck. I couldn’t move forward due to all the trauma and abuse I’d gone through throughout all my childhood. I felt defeated and it turned into me not wanting to do life anymore. My friendship brought me closer to Christ during a time of more hardship. I overcame death thanks to Him. I have a new view of life and a new opportunity, so I am doing everything I can to honor Him and live a life that helps lead others to Him."
